Are we surprised or not?  Frankly I'm not sure.  Naive or not, I tend to see the good and the innocent in people unless I hear factually, or see otherwise. I guess the opening photograph tells her story already.

Bobbi Kristina isn’t the only one denying what we all think is seemingly obvious. Her Dad Bobby Brown spoke to ABC News this week and denied the pics and claims that his 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina was doing cocaine. Cheak out clearer pics of Bobbi Kristina “snorting lines” “I don’t know anything about that,” Brown told ABC News Now’s What’s the Buzz on Monday when asked about the photos. “My daughter, she doesn’t, she doesn’t do that.”

The medical profession today, still discuss whether or not addiction is hereditary, or a trait that is learned from one parent or both - in other words, the old argument between "nature -v nurture".

While genetics does play a huge part in addiction, it would seem that (here at least,) nurture also played a large part in Bobbi's wayward behavior.  Bobbi was brought up in the adult celebrity world, where drugs is always heavily featured as a way of life. After Whitney Houston's death, Bobbi had been hospitalized twice,  for "stress and anxiety", with her father, Bobby Brown staying by her side.

My daughter Bobbi Kristina is doing much better,” Brown said in an email statement to ABCNews.com Tuesday. “We continue to provide love and support to Bobbi Kristina. She is dealing with the tragedy of her mother’s death and would prefer to do it outside of the public eye. I ask again that our privacy be respected.

Apparently Twitter went viral with the news after the photo came out with Bobbi Kristina snorting coke.  So much so that Bobbi felt she needed to defend herself, by saying:

Following the funeral, Bobbi was nowhere to be found - that is, until she *was found - in a hotel room using drugs.

[...] Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown decided she needed some time alone. So while friends and family convened at a local eatery in Newark, N.J., to remember the 48-year-old musical legend, Bobbi Kristina simply disappeared.

The teenager also wants to go into show business following her famous mother's footsteps.  Will she also follow Whitney's footsteps down the trail of addiction?  It doesn't look good for her.  If coke is what she turned to in a hotel room for help in dealing with her grief, what will she turn to in the face of damning critical reviews?  Not to mention the fact that she will be always be compared to the golden soaring vocals of her mother.

If Bobbi's grandmother Cissy, believes that Bobbi is addicted to drugs, she's not letting on.  However, a family friend claims that she does know and had been trying to keep the girl straight even prior to Houston's death.

Even before the funeral was held Saturday, the family had serious discussions about Bobbi Kristina entering into rehab as soon as her mother was laid to rest, according to multiple sources familiar with the conversations. They say she spent the night after her mother’s death using drugs to dull the pain.

According to The Daily Beast, Bobbi Kristina was to be flown to a California Rehab., when she was finally found after the funeral.  I hope others will join me in wishing Bobbi Kristina Brown well with her rehab., efforts.

Hang in there Bobbi.
